What is Tainted seed?

A tainted seed is a seed which can be planted in the sanguine patch on the south eastern side of the Sanguine crawler area, above ground at the Blighted Cave . When fully grown, which takes 24 hours, players can obtain the Scarlett pet from the patch. It is obtained as a rare drop from sanguine crawlers . Players do not need to be on Slayer assignment to get this item as a drop, however being on a slayer assignment will increase the drop rate of the tainted seed. Players can only plant once.
